What is RSS? | Getting Started with RSS
Company News via RSS Feeds Customers, employees, journalists, analysts and others interested in keeping up to date on news and announcements from Air Products can subscribe to our Update Feeds to get news delivered directly to their desktop. Our Update Feeds feature uses RSS, an XML-based format, for distributing and aggregating web content.
There are several ways to subscribe to one of the Update Feeds in your RSS Aggregator:
- Copy the URL of the topic that interests you and paste it into your RSS Aggregator window.
- Right click on the URL for the topic that interests you or the XML button
and select 'copy shortcut' and paste the URL into your RSS Aggregator window.
- Click on the feed button
of the topic you are interested in to automatically add the feed to your RSS Aggregator if your aggregator does support the feed:// protocol and is open.
- Yahoo! users can add RSS feeds to your My Yahoo! page. To do this, simply click on the "Add to My Yahoo!" button
to the right of the feed and follow the prompts.
The RSS Reader periodically checks the feed to see if any new content has been posted. The reader then retrieves any new news added to the feed and displays it.
